You may or may not be aware but recently there have been some changes in our industry. Crawford Picture Mouldings has been manufacturing picture mouldings for over twenty-five years and for the last ten years Stanford Harts has been selling our mouldings directly to you. In March this year we were advised that Stanford Harts had sold their business to Larson Juhl, a Multi National Corporate. We were also advised that Larson Juhl purchased Masterpiece, another manufacturer of picture mouldings. As a result of this acquisition and merger Stanford Harts intends to terminate our ten-year supply relationship. This was a major curve ball to say the least however, two weeks later we have a very different perspective. We are excited about continuing and building our business-to-business relationships with you our existing customers, and also, developing new business-to-business relationships with customers who previously purchased our mouldings through Stanford Harts.

To start, either Donald Crawford or Stewart Brechin our Manager will be in touch with you over the next week or two. The aim is to speak directly to you whether you are an existing customer or not, so we can determine what your needs are, how we can help and how we can continue to improve. We will be talking about our new Chop-Service, our new website which is live now (www.picturemouldings.co.nz), and we would also like to update our contact details. In essence, we want to get in touch with you to discuss how our reputation for quality products and service will not be changing and how it's going to benefit you and your business.

As noted earlier this acquisition and merger headed by a Multi-National Corporate was out of the blue and a complete surprise. While we wish Stanford Harts the best of luck under their new ownership we are committed to developing our relationship with you and your business, outside of Stanford Harts. If you deal directly with us now we simply ask you to continue purchasing our products and service. If you have been purchasing our products through Stanford Harts we ask you to continue using our products but deal directly with us.
